Welcome to Integrated Defensive Solutions - one of Idaho's premier firearms training academies. We exist to serve our families, friends, neighbors, communities, and nation and great Americans like you!

We get it! You've searched the internet looking for shooting classes, Idaho concealed weapons or more specifically if you live in Ada County, the Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons Permit classes, shooting ranges, and qualified trainers. But, how do you know who to choose, what to look for and, what to expect from your training company? What type of training should you look for? Should the firearms training have its origins in Law Enforcement, Military, or Competitive shooting? Is one better than another?

The answer is - like many things in life, it really depends on your goals. Our students come from all professions, trades, and backgrounds. Equally, their goals are as diverse as their backgrounds. However, what's common for most is they are not prior military, and not law enforcement, and few have aspirations of ever stepping on the the range as a competitive shooter.

There are several principles from which our training is developed:

Education - Students will understand the why equal to the what
Safety - First and foremost in all classes, at all skill levels, at all times
Suitability - The right class for your skill level, interests, and comfort
Realism - Range theatrics are minimized to ensure applicability
Honesty - Honest feedback to ensure you understand current state and readiness
Repeatability - Fewest skills/techniques applied in a many scenarios

Our instructors are lifelong firearms enthusiasts and have spent years serving, learning, practicing, training, and being trained by a variety of instructors to include law enforcement, military, professional instructors as well as hold NRA Certifications for training. From defensive pistol for self defense, concealed carry, enhanced concealed carry or recreation, our firearms classes deliver exception instruction and opportunities to train in a realistic context.
